These tea leaves are grown without fertilizers or pesticides on the Sera Plateau in Hiroshima Prefecture.

Harvested from tea trees aged 60 to 70 years, they are lower in the rich umami often prized in tea, but are instead distinguished by the land’s own natural sweetness and refreshing flavor.

To bring out these qualities as fully as possible, we craft a variety of teas in distinctive ways: Hama Tea, which is sun-dried by the shore for a week to take on a subtle ocean aroma; Seicha, a sencha made using a withering process rarely applied in standard sencha production to enhance its fragrance; and Chabana Tea, which blends sencha with tea flowers that bloom abundantly thanks to our fertilizer-free cultivation.
