Setouchi sencha is blended with fig leaves, a local speciality of Onomichi, to create a naturally fragrant tea unlike anything we had encountered before.
Fig leaves have long been used in traditional herbal remedies and carry a delicate, softly sweet aroma. Their gentle character pairs beautifully with the fresh flavour of Setouchi sencha.
The tea bag format also makes cold brewing simple. On hot days, the combined fragrance of the tea and fig leaves creates a clean, refreshing drink.

Brewing Instructions
Use 1 tea bag per 150–200 ml of water.
Pour in water heated to 80°C and steep for 2 minutes.
Cold Brew
Add 2 to 3 tea bags to 500 ml of filtered water and shake well. The tea will be ready in approximately 30 minutes.
For a slower brew, leave it in the refrigerator overnight and enjoy it the following morning.
