Recruitment: Tea Field Seedling Planting Volunteers

TEA FACTORY GEN is currently developing a new tea field in Sera.

We are in the middle of planting seedlings, but due to the scale of the project—approximately 30,000 plants across a vast field—we are still in need of additional help.

Since potted seedlings quickly weaken if they are not planted in time, the work must be carried out without much delay.

In addition, mid-to-late May marks an important season for tea picking and tea production, making the current planting period especially time-sensitive.

We are deeply grateful for everyone who is currently working with us in the field. We would be very happy if you could join us in creating this first step of tea cultivation together.

 

■Work Details


●Schedule:
Anytime in early May

●Hours:
10:00–17:00 (approx. 30-minute lunch break included)
Partial participation or early departure is also welcome.

●Work:
Tea seedling planting
No experience necessary.

●Participation fee: Free (tea will be provided as a token of appreciation)

●Meeting point:
840-4 Oguni, Sera-cho, Sera-gun, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan

Only for those who can meet and leave on site.

●What to bring

  • Lunch (for the break)
  • Towel
    Cold beverages will be provided.

●Clothing

  • Long boots
  • Long sleeves and long pants (for mosquito and tick protection)
  • Hat and towel (for heat protection)
