Cha-Tate Gen Yamate × To Tokiyasu Takeshi Fujita Ceramic Exhibition June 26–July 8, 2026
Most of the teaware used at our new TEA FACTORY GEN shop was created by ceramic artist Takeshi Fujita.
Fujita lives in Jinsekikogen, Hiroshima, where he runs his studio, To Tokiyasu, and creates his work using an anagama kiln that he designed himself.
TEA FACTORY GEN owner Genki Takahashi first encountered Fujita’s work at a solo exhibition held in a gallery in Tomonoura during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Takahashi immediately became an admirer of his ceramics and later asked him to create the teaware for our new shop.
For this exhibition, Fujita has created a range of pieces, including teacups, matcha bowls, tea pitchers, houhin teapots, and lidless kyusu teapots.
In addition to teaware, the exhibition also includes pieces for everyday use, such as dessert plates and café bowls.
We look forward to welcoming you.
Please note:
During the exhibition, you are welcome to visit and view the ceramics without using the café.
The artist will be present on June 26, 27, and 28.
