PAPERSKY, “The In-Flight Magazine for Reading on the Ground,” Featured TEA FACTORY GEN

PAPERSKY is a travel and lifestyle magazine first published in 2002.

With the concept of “an in-flight magazine to read on the ground,” it introduces stories born from nature, culture, and everyday life around the world from a slightly different perspective.

PAPERSKY is a travel media publication that edits stories about nature and culture around the world through its own unique viewpoint. Its editor-in-chief, Lucas B.B., worked for the culture magazine TOKION before launching the travel and lifestyle magazine PAPERSKY in 2002. He has visited various countries and cities, including New Mexico, Sweden, Taiwan, and Rio de Janeiro, and writes about the nature, people, and culture he encounters there as he experiences them.

This issue featured the Shimanami region under the theme: “A journey through beautiful islands connected by sea routes, searching for the dreams that drift among them.”

TEA FACTORY GEN's founder, Takahashi, was interviewed as one of the “Dreamy” people—those who live reality as if it were a dream. Charyū Gen Yamate, our second tea shop, was also featured as a base for sharing a new culture of Japanese tea.
